Inkjet print on handmade paper with embedded mulberry leaves
May 2011
It's been almost a year since I graduated from New England School of Photography and I'm going crazy without my weekly critiques! Most of the time I'm so deeply wrapped up in the going-ons inside my head that I loose sight of my end goal, going down these weird artistic rabbit holes that ultimately lead no where. Class critiques always got me back on the right path.
So now that I've graduated what am I to do? Well that's where you come in, dear reader. What do you think about the above work in progress? I just can't decide how I feel about it. For one, the pose is a bit reminiscent of "I'm a little teapot, short and stout". Also this paper was one of the most difficult things I've ever printed on, so it's hard to be objective. Help!
