My new home!

Happy Fourth of July!

My super snazzy 4th of July nails.  I somehow managed to do that freehand.  I'm still not sure how.

Peaches Loves Beaches!
Hampton Beach
Hampton, NH July 4th 2011

I just got back from a wonderful day at Hampton Beach.  I had a blast!  Well, I did until until it started pouring rain and I had to walk a mile and a half to my car without an umbrella.  People were shouting "I feel really bad for you" at me from their cars.  Despite all that, it was great day with some of my favorite people.  Not a bad way to spend a holiday if you ask me.

Kennebunkport

I took a bit of a road trip through Maine a few weeks ago and when I saw the signs for Kennebunkport I had to stop.  One of my favorite memories of childhood is driving along the shore with my dad in his old green Triumph TR250.  It started to rain and we had to pull over to put the top back on.  However, the tops on those old British cars were made of vinyl and snapped on.  They're not easy to put on in the sunshine. In the rain it's damn near impossible.  Luckily my dad has had this car since he was in his 20s and has been caught in many a thunderstorm so he's a pro at it.  He put it together in record time and we went on our way.
Come to think of it, every time I've been to Kennebunkport it's been raining, which is probably why I love going there so much.  There's something about rain and ocean that's eerily beautiful.

I'm Craving Some Grouper Fingers!!!

It's been about a month since I got back from the Abacos and I'm just now starting to edit the pictures. Bad idea when you're stressed, tired, and cold. I want to go back so bad!!!!
