Bye Bye Brighton: For Reals This Time (Part 1)
Kodak 400 VC film
Brighton Mass
August 2011
Well it's official. All my things are out finally out of Brighton and I'm fully moved in to Beverly. I even have a couch up here now (No more watching TV on a lawn chair or a dog bed for me). While I won't miss Brighton that much, I already miss my old apartment like Charlie Sheen misses cocaine. It was home. I love my new place, but it takes me a while to get settled and feel comfortable in new surroundings. In the meantime, I have lots of warm memories and the promise of many many more to come in this new stage of my life. Home ownership is pretty rad.

While I'm technically living in Beverly I am still in the process of cleaning out my old apartment. It's making me very sad. I really loved my old place. It was the first time I turned something rented into a home. Above is one of my favorite parts of the apartment: the widows ledge in my bedroom. Nothing beats standing out there with a coffee cup in hand, watching the city wake up.
Thanks to all who helped to fill my home with warm memories and love!

Ryan and Mel

June 2011
Last month my dear friends Ryan and Mel came over for dinner. They're currently expecting their first child, and I'm beyond excited! It feels like just yesterday I was taking pictures at their wedding, and now they're having a baby!!!! Mel is the most beautiful and adorable pregnant woman I've ever seen. Peaches clearly thought so too. She was obsessed with Mel's belly. It was perfect for a little-dog sized pillow, and thus perfect for adorable pictures.
Congrats guys! Can't wait to meet the little one!
