Liz Goes to the Doctor Part 1
Fuji 800 ProX film
Dartmouth Mary Hitchcock Medical Center
Hanover, NH
August 2011
Sometimes I think they try to make this look like the most depressing place on earth.*
*I should clarify that in reality I truly love it there. It's like my home away from home. The people of DMHMC more than make up for that faded horsey poster
A Happy Accident/E.T. Phone Home
Kodak S800 film
Dartmouth Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital
Hanover, New Hampshire
July 13, 2011
When I got out of surgery, the first thing I asked my dad for was a fresh roll of film in my camera. I was a bit too drugged up to load it myself so he did it for me. He took a couple quick test shots to wind up the film, and one of them actually ended up coming out quite nicely. It's funny, for an accidental shot it really encapsulates the mood of the day and how uncomfortable I was feeling.
And in case you're wondering, that red light on my finger is coming from the oxygen monitor attached to it. Sadly I'm not ET and don't have the ability to light up the tip of my finger whenever I feel like it.
Room 14
Fuji 800 ProX film
Dartmouth Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, Hanover NH, May 2011
Last week I had went in to the hospital for a lumbar sympathetic nerve block. I think it may have been the 24th or 25th one I've had. Crazy.
Also, I'm not sure why but some of these pictures have this weird scanner noise in them. Working to fix it, but as of now I have no idea what's causing it
