Last night I had the great pleasure to attend the 7 Street Gallery's Holiday show opening in Maynard, Mass. It's owned by Nick Johnson and his wife Kelli Costa. Nick is a teacher at New England School of Photography. Ironically, I didn't meet him until my last week of school. Their gallery is also a spectacular print shop, and I needed someone to matte my graduation portfolio before review. Not only did they do an amazing job, they loved my work and put me in their holiday show! This was the first time I was actually able to attend an opening where my work's being exhibited and I found the whole experience thrilling. I loved seeing people's reactions first hand and eavesdropping on their conversations about it. All and all, it was a hit!
In other show related news, I received special recognition from the Light Space and Time gallery's "Figurative" exhibition! It can be seen here
